LEWIS KING MAKING THE HOLIDAYS A LITTLE BRIGHTER FOR LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS
Knoxville, Tennessee. Each year, a committee of Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop law firm staff members solicits the names of either worthy individuals or charitable organizations from its attorneys and staff members. Fundraising activities are held throughout the year and the proceeds and/or gifts are distributed to the worthy organizations or persons at Christmas time. From making contributions to wear blue jeans, to selling baked goods the firm was able to make the holidays a little brighter for a few local organizations. On December 23, 2009 two days before Christmas, the Lewis King Charitable Giving Committee members delivered these financial gifts to the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home in Sevierville, the Serenity Shelter (KARM) and the Interfaith Health Clinic in Knoxville. “At Lewis King, caring is an extension of our client service philosophy and the culture of our firm. We are proud of the commitment that our attorneys and staff make to serve and support these and other organizations in our local community,” said Board Chair Richard Krieg.
