ATTORNEY BEN JONES GRADUATES FROM ABA TIPS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

August 29, 2008. Knoxville, Tennessee – The law firm of Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop is pleased to announce that attorney Benjamin (Ben) Jones was recently honored as a member of the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) class of 2008 Leadership Academy.  The Academy seeks to “nurture effective leadership with respect to ethical, professional and community service values; build relationships among leaders from across the country and from disciplines within the profession; and to raise the level of awareness among lawyers regarding the broad range of issues facing the profession.”

Attorney Jones is one of twenty-two attorneys selected from around the country to participate in this program. The class was honored with a special ceremony and commencement dinner on Saturday, August 9, 2008 in New York during the American Bar Association Annual Meeting.  Of the class, Section Chair Peter Bennett, said, “TIPS is proud of these young lawyers who have demonstrated their commitment to be leaders of our profession and in their communities …They have exhibited true leadership skills…”

Attorney Ben Jones is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law and a shareholder in Lewis King’s Knoxville office.  Jones’ practice primarily concentrates on personal injury, insurance and casualty defense in civil litigation with his primary emphasis in the areas of automobile/trucking litigation, premises liability, professional liability and general tort defense.
