R. Loy Waldrop, Jr. - Construction (Knoxville)
Loy Waldrop is engaged in an extensive construction law practice from the firm’s Knoxville office. In this area of legal services where he practices exclusively, Mr. Waldrop, who has an engineering degree, has represented contractors, designers and owners in a wide variety of legal matters ranging from payment claims and contract negotiations to significant construction litigation involving claims over 100 million dollars and multiple parties.  He has approximately 30 years experience in construction law and has been involved in dozens of construction dispute trials and arbitrations as lead counsel for his clients.  Mr. Waldrop was also recognized in the Mid-South Super Lawyers 2008 edition.

David N. Garst – Construction Litigation (Nashville)
David Garst practices in the areas of architects and engineers professional liability, construction defect litigation, construction contract law, and commercial litigation. He has significant experience in defending design professionals, and has represented architects and engineers in hundreds of claims, lawsuits, arbitration matters, and disciplinary proceedings before Boards of Architectural and Engineering Examiners. Mr. Garst is certified as a general civil mediator by the Alternative Dispute Resolution commission of the Tennessee Supreme Court.  Garst was also recognized in the 2007 and 2008 editions of Mid-South Super Lawyers for Construction Litigation. 

John R. Tarpley – Civil Litigation Defense(Nashville)
Attorney John Tarpley is the managing shareholder of the Lewis King Nashville office. He is a former Tennessee Bar Association President.  John R. Tarpley practices in areas including tort, transportation, product liability, and a wide range of insurance related matters. Mr. Tarpley has been certified as a general civil mediator by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission of the Tennessee Supreme Court.  Mr. Tarpley has been recognized in Mid-South Super Lawyers 2006, 2007 and 2008 editions.
